My Dear “Kabaleyans,”

          It is with sincerest gratitude to the Almighty God that I bring to you my greetings of peace and solidarity both through this page and in person. As a father, too eager to meet his family miles away from the corners of home, the joys of meeting again is beyond the eloquence of words.
          I have always carried in my heart the adage “Once a Mangaldanian, always a Mangaldanian”, wherever the hand of destiny takes him. Clothed by years of influence abroad with all the glitters of foreign currency and better living, nothing can totally erase the formidable roots of being born a Mangaldanian.
          Along these thoughts, I consider our theme, “Reconnecting With our Mangaldanians  Families and Friends Through a Global Reunion,” a welcome respite for all of us to reminisce the old happy times, take pride in our accomplishments of the present and brace ourselves to continue winning for the future.  This get together is also a rare opportunity to celebrate the triumph of unity and friendship that defined us as one united people and municipality.  With optimism, I strongly believe that this gathering will showcase the Mangaldanian spirit on fire and alive.
          Congratulations to the organizers and everyone who shared their efforts and wholeheartedly make this event a succesful and momentous one.

As we brace on our strength, let the Mangaldanian spirit live and on fire, showcasing our bonding and fellowship that tie us to be proud of our heritage.
