A man must always be thankful to God in all the circumstances in his life. Be it good or bad. Be it a happy or a depressing event. Be it something he has prepared and hoped for that turned out to be right or off-putting. Man must thank God for all His plans for him because surely He will not give a man a thing that will not fit him right. This premise reminds me of the story of Dorothy Sarnoff entitled “Values In and Near You”: After a year of fruitless searching, he died penniless and in despair. One day, the man to whom he had sold the farm noticed some unusual rocks in a corner of a field. Curious, he took them into his kitchen and washed them off then polished them. Wow! A very inspiring story, right? Luck comes in the wink of an eye when you less expected it. And for those who can’t wait, you should be reminded that God never sleeps. He knows all our needs and He answers our prayers the best way that fit us. That’s why we know that in Mangaldan, God directs our paths because we never stop praying and asking for blessings for our beloved town. In return we never stop sharing also our services to all our constituents. |

I am happy to announce that we had the Awarding of the first ever Mangaldan Indepakit Basketball Tournament at the MYDC, where we saw the cooperation and unity among our pedicab drivers and their operators. We extended financial assistance to all barangays with river embankments so they could clean and clear their rivers of water lilies, banana trunks, bamboos, debris, etc. as their barangays are in very crucial condition in times of rainy days.

We signed a MOA with NFA Provincial Office for the Expanded Rice Loan Program of our government. This will serve us most in times of calamities and disasters. We also launched the Program Techno Demo “cum” Palay Check for Barangays Anolid and Banaoang. We had a very successful 111th Independence Day Celebration. We thank all those who extend a hand to this municipal activity. We also give thank to Dr. Rolando Mejia, the Administrator of the Region I Medical Center for sharing his precious time as Guest of Honor and Speaker on the said occasion. |
We are very grateful to the Senior Citizens, to the Veterans and to MARETAS for donating two concrete tables and benches each at the public plaza, which we just inaugurated and blessed on June 22, 2009. Finally, we thank Mr. and Mrs. Felimon Aquino and their children from the USA and Mr. and Mrs. Rolando Biala from Canada for paying us a call at the Mayor’s Office. |
